Pilot TV was a 4-day collaborative multimedia event that took place in October 2004 in Chicago, IL. Over 150 participants were involved in the production of a series of performances, videos, and publications, as well as a documentary. Billed as a "temporary autonomous trans-feminist television studio" and contsructed inside a three-story warehouse, Pilot engaged with collective, horizontal models of production and distribution. Afterwards, a traveling film program presenting works produced at Pilot included artists Tara Mateik, Ulrike Muller, Emily Roysdon, Stephen Remington, Lanka Tattersal, Megan Palaima, AK Burns, and Math Bass.
