Positively Nasty, LTTR Issue 5
“Someone Else’s Song” is a series of vocal performances, documented privately and publicly several dozen times over a two year period. It involved intense physical staging of selected oral traditionals (mostly Appalachian), which functioned as repertoire in art and nightclub contexts. With accompaniment by Ashland Mines.
